LSU University College's Student Support Services (SSS) is a comprehensive, federally funded TRIO program that offers assistance to a small, select number of undergraduate students at LSU. SSS provides assistance at every stage of undergraduate education, whether you are deciding what to take in your first semester or wondering how to prepare for that first job interview. We provide intensive academic, personal, and career counseling to help you reach your goals at LSU. We will do all that we can to assist our students in achieving success at LSU. toparticipate fully in their educational process will find great benefits in SSS.







Any U.S. citizen or permanent resident is eligible to receive services from this federally funded program as long as he or she has academic need such as but not limited to an ACT composite score of 24 or less OR a TOPS scholarship
AND meets at least one of the following criteria:
  • First-generation college student (neither parent graduated from a four-year college)
  • Family's taxable income does not exceed levels set by federal government
  • Student has a disability and is registered with the LSU Office of Disability Services
