LSU Psychological Services Center offering services to victims

The LSU Psychological Services Center (PSC) is offering services to victims of Katrina and Katrina's aftermath. We offer groups in grief/loss, stress management, anxiety, and depression to the community and students. We are also conducting individual assessment and treatment anxiety and trauma/stress-related disorders for adults and children. The center is open to anyone in the area, and fees for services are based on a sliding scale considering patients' income and ability to pay. Under the present circumstances of financial hardship for so many affected by Katrina, we are offering treatment services free of charge for those unable to pay.

The PSC is located in the basement of Johnston Hall on the LSU campus and offers assessment and treatment to adults and children for a variety of psychological and behavioral difficulties. Clients are seen by Clinical Psychology doctoral students who are directly supervised by LSU Psychology Department faculty who are licensed, clinical psychologists. Please call 578-1494 for more information.
