President Alexander honors 2016 graduating LSU student veterans

On May 13, 2016, LSU had the pleasure of graduating 148 student veterans. The student veterans of LSU were recognized at the main commencement and academic college diploma ceremony. During the ceremony, they were thanked for their service.

President F. King Alexander honored the graduating veterans by hosting a dinner at his on-campus residence. At the President’s dinner, the Veterans were presented with their red, white and blue cords. President Alexander was able to speak to the student veterans and ROTC commissionees about the great accomplishments they have made to serve our country or will be making in the near future.
