To recognize an outstanding new professional staff member who has taken great strides in becoming acclimated and integrated into the division, as well as his/her department.  The individual will have shown great enthusiasm for the job and a strong drive to improve services provided by his/her  department.  All professional staff hired during the last two academic years are eligible for nomination.

This award recognizes a graduate student in the division who has taken great strides to apply what they are learning in the classroom to their work in the division as well as his/her department.
