Parking Appeals Board
The Parking Appeals Board hears appeals of parking violation citations, tows, and eligible LSUPD citations that were issued to students. The Director of Transportation, Charles Mock, oversees the parking appeals board.
To request an appeal of a citation received from either LSU parking employees or LSUPD officers, please click on the link below. An appeal must be requested within seven days of receiving a citation. Once an appeal has been initiated, it will first be reviewed by LSU Parking staff for administrative issues that would automatically void the citation. All appealed citations that are not voided during this time are then sent to the Parking Appeals Board for review. They meet, on average, twice a month, and during this time you will have the option to make your appeal in-person. It is not required, however, that you be present.
If your appeal of a citation is denied by the Parking Appeals Board, a $5 fee will be added to your citation. A denied tow appeal will result in a $15 fee added to your tow charges.
