LSU Cares

Online reporting system.

LSU Cares is a university initiative dedicated to the well-being of students and promotion of a community that cares about each of its members.

LSU offers an online reporting system to help students, faculty, staff, families, and friends submit reports about:

  • potential violations of the LSU Code of Student Conduct;
  • concerns regarding sexual misconduct and hazing;
  • concerns surrounding acts of bias or discrimination;
  • complaints or grievances; and
  • concerns about students in crisis or distress.

When a report is received, staff will review the details using a CARE approach (Communicate, Assess, Refer, Educate) and then determine a response that includes appropriate campus resources.

It might also be helpful to review Helping Students of Concern for additional information.

If there is a possibility that a student may harm himself/herself or others, dial 911 immediately. In the event of an emergency, do not use these forms.

Call LSU Police immediately by dialing 911 or 225-578-3231.

Please select the category in the list below that most closely addresses your concern.

If you have questions, contact the Office of the Dean of Students/Student Advocacy & Accountability at 225-578-4307 or send an email to dossaa@lsu.edu.
