Alpha Lambda Delta

Alpha Lambda Delta is a national honor society for first year students, recognizing those with GPA's of 3.5 or higher, and rank in the top 20 percent of their class. As a member of Alpha Lambda Delta, students have access to more than $190,000 in scholarships and fellowships, are recognized as a top scholar at LSU in one of the oldest national honors societies in the country, and have an opportunity to develop their leadership skills as a chapter officer. 

The LSU chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta is advised by Elva Bourgeois, instructor of textile science, apparel design and merchandising in the LSU School of Human Ecology, and Missy Korduner, director of the LSU First Year Experience.
