Passport Application Office

The LSU Olinde Career Center accepts passport applications by appointment only.  Appointment hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (excluding official University holidays).

Please visit travel.state.gov for official information about U.S. passports and international travel.

NOTE: Our office does not issue passports. All paperwork is submitted to the U. S. State Department for processing and approval. Your passport should arrive within 4-6 weeks. (The State Department does offer an expedited service option to reduce that processing time to 2-3 weeks, for an additional fee.)

The State Department only accepts the following forms of payment:

  • Checks (personal, certified, cashier's, traveler's - starter/temporary checks are not permitted)
  • Money Orders
