Construction Interviewing Day (CID) connects students and alumni in Construction Management and Civil and Industrial Engineering with employers recruiting for full-time, part-time, internship and co-op positions.

Student Information

Participating organizations will choose which students and alumni to interview from among those who submit resumes for consideration. What does this mean for you?

Only students who are "preselected" will be able to schedule interviews. Click here to download the CID Important Deadlines for Students.

Students will not be allowed to add interviews based on vacant time slots--all interviews will be added by recruiters.

Visit the public events calendar and select LSU Fall 2017 Construction Interviewing Day. You will be redirected to the Careers2Geaux event overview page - scroll down and select the "See Who's Coming" link. You can also download the Careers by Symplicity app through the App Store for iPhone or Google Play for Android. Registration Information

To register, log into Careers2Geaux, select the "Fall 2017 Construction Interviewing Day is currently active"  link on the right side of the welcome screen, and complete the registration form.

If you do not already have a Careers2Geaux account, go to our public events calendar and click the "Participant Registration" link for the Spring 2017 Construction Interviewing Day. On the following page, click the "Proceed to Registration Form" link under "new participants."

Fee structure

All registration fees include admission for up to two recruiters and one 6-foot or 8-foot table (depending on attendance).

  • $300 for one table/schedule (includes lunch & parking pass for two recruiters)
  • Additional table/schedule $50 each (limit: one additional table)
  • Additional recruiters $30 (includes lunch & parking pass)

June 6 --> Regular registration begins.

Sept. 22 --> Regular registration and pre-select ends. You must register and have your job posted by Sept. 22, in order to participate in the pre-selection process. 

Sept. 23- Oct. 13 --> If you register during this period you will have an "open" schedule where qualifying students will sign-up directly to your posting.

Oct. 14-20 --> If you register during this period you will be sent a batch of résumés so you can contact students directly about filling interview slots. 

 

 

Event sponsorship

Become an event sponsor for $650. You can sign-up to be an event sponsor during the registration process.

 

Benefits of sponsorship:

  • Prime placement at the event.
  • Name and/or logo included on the event web pages for both the student and employer side, in Careers2Geaux, and in e-newsletters sent out to all students.
  • Recognition at the event by the speaker delivering the lunch address.
  • Name and/or logo highlighted on event signage and on the recruiter handout.
