<empty>2009 Candlelight Celebration
Tuesday, December 1 at 5 p.m.
Memorial Tower

Join the LSU community for the Candlelight Celebration, which includes a variety of music, dance and choral performances from the LSU College of Music & Dramatic Arts, among others, as well as the lighting of the Christmas tree and celebrations of Kwanzaa and Hanukkah.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to make s’mores, sing carols and decorate cookies. Plus, Tiger fans can get a head start on their holiday shopping; LSU-related gift items, like the official LSU ornament, will be on sale at the event.

Celebrate the season in the spirit of giving with LSU students, staff, faculty and friends by donating to Toys for Tots. Volunteer LSU will be taking donations of new, unwrapped toys, which can be deposited in the boxes located around the tree from December 1-4. Donations can also be dropped off at the Volunteer LSU office, Room 350 of the LSU Student Union. Visit www.volunteer.lsu.edu for additional details.

Immediately following the Candlelight Celebration:

Holiday on Campus (open to students, faculty, staff and their children)
Kwanzaa Celebration (open to the public)

The LSU Candlelight Celebration is free and open to the public.
