Water skiing for LSU, students can enjoy year round skiing in the subtropical climate of southern Louisiana. Miles of glassy water can be found within minutes of LSU on Bayou Plaquemine and the Amite River for all you open water lovers. For the competitive skier, LSU is only 20 minutes away from the world class Bennett's Water Ski School. Team members can also practice at yet another private ski lake designed by Jay Bennett 20 minutes from LSU.
