Series Ticket Policies

• Series subscriptions are available through the LSU Union Box Office, by mailing in a season subscription form, or (for a limited time) via our online subscription process.
• When submitting the online season subscription form, a Lively Arts Committee representative or Union Box Office representative will process your request by calling to confirm your submission then finalize your order.

PRIORITY SUBSCRIPTION RENEWALS

It's easy to renew by mail, by phone, by internet, or in person at the LSU Union box office.  Your renewal must be received by August 6, 2007 in order to secure the same seats as last season.  Renewals received after August 6 will not be guaranteed the same seats.  Renewing subscribers may also request a seating upgrade, if available.  A limited number of series tickets will be sold, so please order early.

NEW SUBSCRIBERS

As a new subscriber, it is essential that you submit your order as soon as possible.  A limited number of series tickets will be sold, so please order early.  Subscriptions are processed in the order in which they are received.  After series renewal orders are filled on August 6, new subscriber orders will be processed in the order in which they were received.  Order your series subscription as soon as possible for a better seating assignment and before our season is sold out.

DISCOUNTED TICKET POLICY

LSU Union members, faculty, and staff are eligible to purchase two tickets at the discounted price.  LSU students, high school, middle school, and elementary students may purchase one discounted ticket per individual.  If purchasing discount tickets by mail or online, enclose a copy of the current LSU or student ID.  ID copies may also be faxed or emailed to the box office, or discounted tickets may be purchased in person.

TICKET REFUND POLICY

The LSU Union will not refund the price of tickets except in the event of cancellation of a performance.

UNION THEATER RESTORATION FEE

The ticket prices in the printed brochure and listed on this website include a restoration fee of $4 for the season ($1 per show).  Thank you for helping to give LSU and Baton Rouge the quality theater our community deserves.

PAYMENT METHODS

Cash and personal checks made payable to the LSU Student Union, Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Tiger Cash are accepted.  Payroll deductions are also available to LSU faculty and staff.

Online Ordering Policies

INFORMATION SECURITY

All web forms used on this website send your encrypted information to a LSU UPC Lively Arts e-mail address, monitored only by the UPC Lively Arts advisor and chairpersons, as well as the Union Box Office e-mail address.  As your information is not being sent between our systems and the charge card companies, credit card processing is not dynamic - meaning your card is not charged as soon as you submit the form.  Rather, we receive an order and process it manually as if you had mailed in your form.  E-Mails do not contain sensitive credit card information.  That information is stored on a secure SSL server, where we retrieve the information when we receive an order submission e-mail.  We have recently acquired the means of securely submitting your information, so your information is processed with SSL certificate security - the web information security standard!

THE ONLINE ORDERING PROCESS

Once you submit a form, your information is sent to the LSU UPC Lively Arts committee and the Union Box Office via secure e-mail.  Either the committee advisor or chairperson or a Union Box Office representative will process your order by printing your information, calling you to verify your order, and submitting your order request to the LSU Union Box Office staff for ticket/member processing.  If you do not receive a call within 3 business days of submitting an online order, please contact the UPC Lively Arts office at (225) 578-5118.  Your credit card will NOT be charged without a committee representative or Union Box Office official contacting you via phone first.
