The first project is called Ready to Read. In this project, the SIFE members travel to different elementary schools around Baton Rouge and read to the Kindergarten children. The second project deals with the Boys Scouts of America. In this project, the SIFE members help the scouts learn the importance of a checking account and how to manage money. The third project helps the homeless at a local homeless shelter learn the importance of computer skills. In this project the SIFE team will donate computers to a shelter and conduct monthly meetings where the members will teach computer literacy, and eventually help them build a resume.
