We are so glad you are interested in SAI. All female LSU students who have a sincere interest in music, at least a 2.75 GPA, and have already taken a music class at LSU are eligible to join our sisterhood. The pledging process for the fall semester is just beginning, and we are looking for a new bunch of girls to come enjoy music with us.

Because we are a service-oriented fraternity, SAI sponsors several philanthropies projects in the Baton Rouge community:

  • Through our Wishing Well Project, we provide music, instruments and other materials to band, choir and orchestra programs in East Baton Rouge Parish.
  • Each year, we select one student musician from the Baton Rouge area highschools as our scholarship recipient to help him/her with the cost of lessons and buying or maintaining his/her instrument.
  • Several times each semester, our members visit a nursing home in the Baton Rouge area and brighten the residents' day with our music.

If you're interested in joining or have questions about the pledging process, please contact our VP Membership, Melissa Medine at mmedin4@lsu.edu.
