Airports around LSU

• Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport
• Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport

We recommend you to choose Baton Rouge Metro airport. Please choose the airport at New Orleans only when the fare difference would be more than $100 or you have your ride to Baton Rouge. If you want NSA to pick you up we will apreciate it but you will be charged certain fee. For New Orleans pick-up it costs $35 and for Baton Rouge pick-up it costs $10 per head.

Dining & other activities

• On Campus and near by: McDonald’s, Starbucks, Blimpie’s, Pizza Hut and many other food counters are located inside the Union. More information on where you can eat on-campus.
• Fast food, restaurants– Mexican, Mediterranean, Chinese and American, and bars are located within walking distance from the campus.
• ICC and other student organizations organize movie nights for free.
• Be a part of NSA to celebrate important festivals.
• Once you are an LSU tiger, you would feel the vibe of being the National Champions in College football twice since the beginning of the millennium. Fall semester– you would learn to enjoy college football and have fun with friends at the same time.
• Two University lakes (20 min walk from Nicholson) and Mississippi river (10 min walk from Nicholson) would motivate you to run/jog.

• A Nepali restaurant -Himalayas and an Indian restaurant-India’s are located at about 20 min drive.
• Within 20-30 min drive, you could find places for various recreation: from watching a movie to visiting a museum.
