
Tiger road woes continue in game 2 vs. Alabama (11/10/07)
PELHAM Al, LSU gets shut out for the second time this season with a 10-0 loss to Alabama. The Tigers struggled to put shots on goal in both games of the weekend. LSU falls to 2-6 on the season and 0-4 on the road. The Tigers will continue playing road games when they next travel west to Lafayette to take on the Rajun Cajuns. The Tigers will attempt to remain undefeated against other Louisiana schools.

PELHAM Al., LSU falls to 2-5 on the season after a 16-2 loss
to Alabama Friday night in Pelham. Both Tiger goals, scored by Richard Fischer and Michael
Mayeux, occurred in the second period after the game was already well in hand. The Tigers
will stay in town for a rematch against the Crimson Tide tomorrow night.

Late goals pull Commodores away from Tigers (10/28/07)
NASHVILLE Tn., LSU went 0-2 on its
Tennessee road trip by falling to Vanderbilt 12-4. The Tigers continued its defensive woes
in the first period against the Commodores. The Tigers improved their play in the second
period, cutting the deficit to 7-4. However, Vanderbilt would squash the rally by adding 5
goals to cruse to a 12-4 victory. LSU falls to 2-4 on the season and will travel to
Alabama for their next games.

Tigers struggle in first road game against the Blue Raiders (10/27/07)
FRANKLIN Tn., Middle Tennessee notched an easy 12-0 victory over the Tigers Saturday night. Although LSU generated over 20 shots on goal, they were unable to get on the score sheet while struggling mightily on defense. The Tigers fall to 2-3 on the season and look forward to tomorrow's match up against SEC-rival Vanderbilt.

BATON ROUGE La., Florida
finished off a two-game sweep of the Tigers in impressive fashion with a 12-2 victory in
game two. The Gators took a 2-0 lead into the first intermission after scoring with just
eight seconds to go in the period. The Tigers were unable to breakout against the Florida
forecheck, and the Gators added four goals in the second period and six goals in the third
to complete the rout. LSUs Steve Ashy score two unassisted goals for the Tigers who
fall to 2-2 on the season. The Gators scored in the final minute of all three periods and
improve to 4-1 on the season. LSU will travel to Nashville next weekend to play Middle
Tennessee and Vanderbilt.

first period against Florida proved to be its best. Steve Ashys unassisted
shorthanded goal late in the first gave LSU a 1-0 lead heading into the break. However,
the tide quickly turned as the Gators exploded for ten goals in the second period. In the
midst of the Gator rally, Tiger Rhett Richardson scored LSUs second goal of the game
assisted by Christophe Philipon and Michael Mayeux. Both teams skated to a scoreless draw
in the third period, and the game would end with the score 10-2 in favor of the Gators.

Drouant, the Tigers won their season opener 2-1 over the Tulane Green Wave. Both teams
skated to a scoreless deadlock in the first period. The Green Wave broke onto the score
sheet first with a goal midway through the second period. Tiger senior Steve Ashy quickly
answered with a breakaway goal late in the second period. With the score tied at one
midway through the third period, both teams looked to break the ice. LSU got that break
when junior Richard Fischer's shot bounced off the pads of the Tulane goalie, and into the
sure hands of junior Lance Logan who buried the puck in the back of the net for the
