Philanthropies

Watermelon Bust

North American Food Drive

Each year, all Lambda Chi Alpha chapters come together to raise food in the North American Food Drive. This National Philanthropy began back on November 6, 1993. On this day, Lambda Chi Alpha completed the largest single-day philanthropic event with over 150 chapters and colonies and 8,000 members joined together for "Brothers Feeding Others." During the 2000 campaign, the Fratenity exceeded its goal of 2,000,000 lbs. by 721,897 lbs. The 2,721,897 lbs. of food collected made history this past year.

Lambda Chi Alpha is involved in several philanthropic events. Along with putting on two events, the members participate in sorority philanthropies (CW Open, DDD Triple Play, DG Anchor Bowl, KD Shamrock, Kappa Klassic (Golf Tournament), KAQ Crawfish on the Clover, PBF Double Shot, FM Man of the Millineum)
