Campus Chapters is a program of Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI), that enables and encourages students to help eliminate poverty housing in partnership with Habitat affiliates in the United States and around the world. The Campus Chapter of Habitat for Humanity at LSU is an unincorporated, student-run, student-led organization working in partnership with the local Baton Rouge Habitat for Humanity affiliate and local homeowners. Our Chapter has three main functions:

  • Building - Participation in the building and renovation of houses in Baton Rouge
  • Education - Educating the campus and local community about the need for decent, affordable housing and the work of Habitat for Humanity.
  • Fundraising - Raising funds for Habitat-related projects locally and globally.

Fundraising

One of our most important tasks as a chapter is fundraising. Help us reach our $75,000 goal by getting sponsors for your volunteer hours. Helping with fundraising will give you priority for any upcoming builds in New Orleans and for Collegiate Challenge. It's a great way to get points and get us closer to our goal!
