technology. We are also involved in the IFT, participating in both
regional and national competitions.

Activities
The Food Science Club participates in a wide variety of activities ranging from professional and social meetings to volunteer work and competitions.
Professional meetings are organized whenever possible to help students learn about food science in both industry and academia. Also, potluck dinners held throughout the semester allow students and faculty to try a variety of different foods from each students home. We also hold an annual bowling tournament with both students and faculty members.
Our club also participates actively in helping to recruit new students to our department and in teaching others about food science. We have attended several student organization fairs to promote our club and plan to attend more in the future.
The Food Science Club's pages are those of the Food Science Club's only.
