THE DELTA JOURNAL seeks to showcase a diverse array of the best of LSU’s literary, visual and musical arts through its annual publication Delta, in its biannual Art Parties and in its monthly Manchac Magazine with the object of sustaining a functioning artistic community at LSU and in the wider Baton Rouge area.

Our interest includes but is not limited to poetry, short fiction, essay, translation, creative nonfiction, interview, literary/art criticism, philosophical treatise/manifesto. 

Non-students may submit, but cannot be considered for Delta’s annual prizes. Delta is a closed publication and claims no copyright on the works it publishes. Works printed in Delta are still considered ‘unpublished,’ and author/artist retains full publishing rights. All works subject to final approval by author before print.
