Submissions:
Delta Undergraduate Literary Journal seeks quality writing in the following mediums: Poetry, Short Fiction, Essays, Translations*, Creative Nonfiction, Plays, Excerpts from Novels, Excerpts from Screenplays, Interviews, Literary/Art Criticism, Philosophical Treatises/Manifestoes. In addition Delta accepts visual art submissions from the following: Painting, Drawings, Photography, Prints, Sculpture, and Mixed Media. Non-students cannot be considered for the Matt Clark Prize. All manuscripts are consider and voted upon by a reading committee of distinguished LSU students. *Translations must be accompanied by a Translation Faculty Approval Sheet signed by a member of the respective language program, attesting to the legitimacy of the attempt. Fall Submissions Due December 2009 All submissions must include the following in a page-size envelope: I. Cover Sheet - Name, E-mail address, Contact Phone Number Brief Biography – major, concentration, hometown, goals, publications and awards, quirks, etc. Table of Contents - list of works in order as they appear in packet by Title and Type of work (i.e., fiction, poetry) II. Body of work- individual pieces should NOT contain your name or contact information. Prose . Single spaced; 12 point font; Times New Roman; no more than 25 pages total per submission. Poetry . Individually typed with spacing, capitalization and justified as intended for publication Art. Art submissions must be submitted as JPEG images of 300 dpi or more by email to lsudelta@gmail.com or on CD-ROM to address below. NOTE: The dimension of the journal are currently 5½ in. by 8½ in. Literature and artwork not sizable to this dimension must be revised accordingly.
