Must be enrolled as a
full-time student

Must be in good academic
standing with the University, have
at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA

Must not be on academic
probation, disciplinary probation or
deferred suspension

S.T.R.I.P.E.S.
experience

General Expectations
•
Serve as a representative
of the University
•
Be more than just a leader;
be a mentor throughout the year
•
Maintain confidentiality in
communication and processes
related to program implementation
•
Assist in the recruitment
of participants
•
Serve as a positive role
model and mentor to participants
•
Assist in the planning,
set-up, implementation, clean-up, and
evaluation of the program
•
Abide by and enforce all
S.T.R.I.P.E.S.
and University rules and
regulations
•
Participate in post-S.T.R.I.P.E.S.
follow-up and activities
•
Assist with other duties as
assigned
Program Assistant Duties
•
Assist the executive staff
with the planning and
implementation of the program
•
Program assistants are
assigned to specific executive staff
positions based on programs and events
Small Group Leader Duties
•
Facilitate small group
discussions, lead cheers and activities
•
Small Group leaders report
to their assigned streak leader

Important Dates
You must attend at least
one Leader Information Meeting to receive information an
application and information about the program.
Information Meetings for students interested in serving
as leaders for 2010 will be announced next
spring.
