Recruitment of students will be based on residency, financial need, GPA, and major. The participants will be awarded $2,175 per semester and will be mentored to pursue their professional careers through graduate study or job placement in industries relevant to their education.

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

• Be a United States Citizen, National, or Permanent Resident at the time of application
• Demonstrate financial need as defined by the US Department of Education rules for need-based Federal financial aid
• Be pursuing a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in at least one of the following disciplines:
  • Biological Sciences
  • Chemistry
  • Computer Science
  • Geology and Geophysics
  • Physics and Astronomy
  • Mathematics
• Be enrolled full-time (a minimum of 12 credit hours) in any of the above fields during the semester receiving the scholarship
• Have a minimum GPA of 2.5 or, if entering as a freshman, a high school GPA of 3.0 and an ACT score of 25
