After your request is received, it will be forwarded to a Health Promotion Coordinator who will contact you to confirm details and finalize a date. Please be aware that we schedule presentations on a “first-come, first-served” basis, and your request will not be finalized until confirmed by a coordinator. For best results, contact us with your request at least two weeks in advance. Many of our presentations can be adapted to fit your specific needs, through the addition of games or extra information that ties in to your class curriculum or event theme. Please discuss any requested modifications with the Health Promotion Coordinator who contacts you to confirm your request.

Information Tables & Events
The Wellness and Health Promotion Staff strives to provide the LSU community with
health information and resources that can positively impact students’ lives. One of
the ways that we achieve this goal is through face-to-face outreach efforts. Please
come see us when we are out on campus in the Health Hut (usually near Patrick Taylor
Hall or in Free Speech Plaza). We would love to provide you with informational materials
and answer any questions you might have about our department. Also, come visit us
at such events as the Wellness Fair (sponsored by the Student Health Center), the
Student Organizational Fair, and other campus happenings.
If you would like to invite the Wellness and Health Promotion Staff to have an information table at your event, please contact us with the date, time, location and purpose of your event. We are always interested in learning about new opportunities to serve students!
We encourage Residential Life staff to take advantage of the many health-related educational programs we offer. We would be happy to come to your hall to provide a fun, engaging program—all you need to do is fill out a Presentation Request Form, and we will contact you to set up the details.
