Call Boxes on Campus
LSU has tamper resistant phones near the entrances to most dorms and many other buildings which will allow you to make an on-campus call or contact the police by dialing 911.
Location of Police
Stations
View maps, directions, and contact information of police stations and sheriffs'
offices within a 10 mile radius of the LSU campus.
Withholding Names and Addresses from LSU's Online Directory
You may withhold your name, phone numbers, and addresses from being listed
on the University's online directory.
- To withhold your name from the online directory, make the following selections from your PAWS desktop: Personal Preferences -> Directory Information -> Withholding Information. Set your name withholding status to "Withhold from Internet." If you select name withholding, neither your name nor your addresses will be available through the online directory.
- To withhold a specific mailing address, make the following selections from your PAWS desktop: Personal Preferences -> Directory Information -> Mailing Address. cash rewards and providing a single number to call with information
relating to any crime or criminal activity.
Energy Services
For more than 20 years, the LSU campus has supported and hosted numerous
crime-prevention and educational programs. In light of recent events,
LSU is upgrading illumination in current outdoor lighting fixtures, installing additional outdoor lighting fixtures around campus, and improving
visibility by pruning trees and shrubs.
