About RHA
The LSU Residence Hall Association is the second largest student organization on campus. RHA's main goals are to promote residential communities that encourage academic, cultural and social pursuits, and to provide service and leadership opportunities. In short, RHA works to improve on-campus life for residents. RHA is comprised of an Executive Staff and several Community Councils. Working together, RHA is responsible for major programming throughout the year such as our annual Crawfish Boil, Snowin' in the South program (snow on the Parade Ground!!), and various other events such as Block Parties and Tailgates. RHA also works to change residence hall policies, acting as the official voice of residents to the University. For more information, read the Purpose portion of the RHA Constitution. |

How To Get Involved The easiest way to get involved in your community is to speak with a Community Council representative in your hall. Community Councils generally meet once per week and the meetings are open to the public. Ask your RLC or Community Council representative for meeting dates specific to your hall. In addition, each year there are fall elections in which you may file in order to be voted to your hall's Community Council. |
