Each residence hall and apartment community has a Community Council – composed of student officers elected by on-campus residents – that represents each hall during RHA general assembly meetings, plans social and educational programs for its community, and works with the community’s professional staff to improve the quality of life for residents.
The Community Councils report to the RHA Executive Board, which is elected by the General Assembly each spring semester. The executive board serves a term that spans one calendar year. On-campus residents are automatically general members of the RHA and are entitled to cast one vote in all general elections.
