Dr. Kris Mecholsky,
Full-time Tutor for Residential Colleges

In-hall tutoring by faculty, staff, and graduate students is just one of the many benefits of living in a residential college. As a full time tutor, Kris maintains office hours in various buildings to offer free tutoring in English, chemistry, physics, and mathematics from algebra and trigonometry to calculus. Kris enjoys his role as a mentor and tutor, and pulls from his experience as a high school physics teacher to relate to first-year students.

“I really love doing this. It’s great to be an in environment where students come to me out of their own free will. They genuinely feel comfortable around me, want help, are seeking knowledge and to learn new things,” - Kris
