Tour Guides

Residential Life tour guides are a key part of the recruitment team in Residential Life. Tour guides lead daily tours of the residence halls to more than 12,000 guests each year and also work special recruitment events to help students and families see the value in living on campus. If you are outgoing, can think on your feet, and enjoy talking to people, being a tour guide may be right for you!

 

Nicholson Gateway Ambassador

 Nicholson Gateway Ambassadors are the front-line customer service and recruitment staff for the Nicholson Gateway Apartments, and must be friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and customer-service oriented. The team of student ambassadors works with and reports to the Res Life Communications staff to lead all daily tours and operations, special events, and more. 

 

Photographer & Communications Assistant

The photographer student position will work as part of the communications team updating and organizing the department's photo database, taking photos at hall programs, special events, and around campus, and updating staff headshots. Some weekend and evening hours required (most hall programs are in the evening). Familiarity with photo editing and Adobe Photoshop preferred. This position may also assist with video creation and social media content creation.
