2007 National Survey Results
Using the model of the annual Louisiana Survey, the Reilly Center conducted a national survey to provide a snapshot of how people who live outside of Louisiana view our state.  The results are promising and offer the opportunity to focus on our strengths and areas where we need to build national awareness.  Respondents gave Louisiana high marks for its food, music, variety of things to do, and its friendly people.  Louisiana’s wetlands are important to America with 48% saying they had either read or heard about the issue of wetlands loss. Respondents were not aware of our pivotal role in oil and gas production, the seafood and film industries.  The full report can be found at http://www.survey.lsu.edu/downloads/National_Agenda_2007.pdf
