Mind & Body Yoga for Relaxation Sessions I & II Registration Session I: January 9 - February 6, 2012 Registration Session II: January 9 - March 19, 2012
This hatha yoga style class is a great way to reduce stress and tension while improving balance, strength, flexibility, and kinesthetic awareness. This class explores basic yoga poses while connecting breath with movement in a soothing and meditative environment.

Course Registration

UREC Specialty Course registration opens January 9, 2012.
Registration is accepted at the UREC Student Recreation Center Operations Desk. Participants are required to register in advance of attending a UREC Specialty Course. Registration for each course is open until the registration deadline or the course reaches its maximum capacity.

Learning Objectives
|
- Reduce stress, allowing for relaxation of the body
- Increase awareness of breath while learning to breathe more deeply and fully
- Increase strength and flexibility to help in prevention of injury as well as aid in recovering from injury
