Are you preparing for your first fitness assessment? During the assessment you will undergo a series of tests to benchmark your fitness level. Below are a few tips to help you prepare.
- Wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing or swim suit if applicable.
- Drink plenty of fluids over the 24-hour period preceding the assessment to ensure normal hydration.
- Avoid exercise or strenuous physical activity the day of the assessment.
- Avoid food, tobacco, alcohol, and caffeine for at least 3 hours prior to the assessment.
