REFUND POLICY

This recreational based day camp is a comprehensive program for children ages 6* to 12, which promotes healthy lifestyles among school age children in hopes that they will continue to grow and stay active. Each session, the children spend 10-action packed days filled with sports activities, games, arts and crafts, swimming, and weekly field trips dedicated to the session’s particular theme.

*Camper must be six years of age by August 31, 2008, to register.

All University affiliated registrants must present official LSU ID at the time of registration. We accept Cash, Checks, Visa, Mastercard, and Payroll Deduction for those that are eligible. Fees must be paid in full upon registration.

Once a family has registered for UREC Tiger’s DEN, a confirmation kit will be mailed to the camper's primary residence the first week of May. Included in this kit will be waivers and medical forms.  These materials will need to be completed and returned at least ten business days before the start of your camper’s first week of camp or on a time line approved by the camp director. Each camper will need to have all of the appropriate paperwork on file before participating in UREC Tiger's DEN Camp.

Extended Care is offered per session for either drop off or pick up at $20/session; or both drop off and pickup at $40/session.

SWIM LESSONS

 

SWIM LESSONS REQUEST FORM

Group Swim Lessons are available for children ages 4 - 12. Register now to give your child confidence in the pool whether just learning to swim or developing his/her swim skills.  Both UREC members and non-members are eligible to register. A brief description of each level are provided on the swim lesson form to assist you when choosing a session.

Swim lessons are conveniently scheduled during camp hours.  A UREC Tiger’s DEN counselor will assist your child to and from their swim lesson each day. Space is limited so sign-up today. 

 

COUNSELORS

 

 

UREC COUNSELORS lead and nurture youth. Camp counseling is a great opportunity for kinesiology and education majors to gain practical experience.

All counselor positions have been filled for Summer 2008.
