Rental Eligibility and Rates
Use of any UREC facility is subject to a rental fee. Eligibility of use is based on categories as set by UREC Administration. The categories are established to meet University Recreations primary mission – The Students. Categories and priority of use are as follows:
* Tier 1 – Recognized Student Organizations
* Tier 2 – Recognized University Departments to include Academic Units
* Tier 3 – Sponsored Off Campus Groups
Sponsored Off Campus Groups must first be approved by Finance and Administration.
Established rates are designed to ensure that those who fall into categories outside of the student population are contributing an appropriate amount to pay for the services they use without dipping into the funds contributed by the student body. Fees are reviewed annually and adjusted accordingly.
The Department of University Recreation reserves the right to deny any facility rental request based on the type of request, the hours requested, the space requested and any other type request we feel does not meet our mission.
