SERVICES:
- Provides ongoing care and medication monitoring for chronically mentally ill and/or severely emotionally disturbed adults
- Same-day appointments for suicide and/or acutely psychotic individuals.

- Offers individual, couple and family counseling services.
LSU Mental Health Services

SERVICES:
- Provides evaluation and assessment, crisis intervention, individual and couple counseling, group therapy sessions, psychiatric consultation and referral.
- Commonly deals with anxiety, stress, depression, relationships, eating disorders, substance abuse, sexual or physical trauma, family issues and adjustment to college.
- All visits are confidential.
- The first three visits are free and the cost of subsequent visits will be determined by student’s ability to pay.
LSU Psychological Services

- Works with Department of Psychology for graduate training and research in clinical and developmental psychology.
- Provides diagnostic and therapeutic psychological services for LSU students and the Baton Rouge Community.
- Fees are based on client’s income.

- Workshops for groups, clubs and other gatherings on personal growth, parenting, and other topics offered by request only.
- Support programs for families of the mentally ill.
- Advocacy role in supporting legislation for the mentally ill.
- Coordinates family support groups for persons with mentally ill family member through Alliance House.
- Halfway houses with LA Department of Vocational Rehab.
