Psychological Services Center (PSC)

The Psychological Services Center at LSU houses a number of specialty clinics designed to address a variety of client needs.  These clinics are directed and supervised by Clinical Psychology professors at LSU and designed to provide the highest quality clinical services available. 

PSC Specialty Clinics

The Psychological Services for Youth Clinic (PSYC) provides the majority of clinical child & adolescent testing and treatment services in the PSC.  We routinely assess and treat a variety of childhood disorders including problems related to anxiety, fear, depression, ADHD, tantrums, learning disorders, and similar concerns.  We offer a variety of services for children, adolescents, parents, families, and young adults.

Psychological Services for Youth Clinic (PSYC)

The Developmental Disabilities Clinic at the Louisiana State University Psychological Services Center provides assessment and treatment services to children with developmental disabilities and their families.  The Developmental Disabilities Clinic serves children with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disabilities, genetic disorders, and other developmental disabilities.

Developmental Disabilities Clinic

The Adult Treatment Services Clinic provides the majority of adult treatment services in the PSC.  Treatment for adults is offered for individuals, couples, and in group formats.  Individuals are routinely seen for difficulties related to anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and many other emotional/behavioral difficulties.  Couples counseling is offered as well as several ongoing group therapies (current groups are smoking cessation, depression, and appetite awareness).

Adult Treatment Services Clinic

The Adult Assessment and Neuropsychology Clinic in the PSC provides a wide array of assessment services for adults, including neuropsychological evaluations and psychoeducational assessments for difficulties such as ADHD and learning disorders.

The Anxiety and Addictive Behaviors Clinic is committed to the development and provision of state-of-the-art treatments and assessments for individuals suffering from anxiety-related problems. Disorders treated in our clinic include Social Anxiety Disorder (also known as Social Phobia), Panic Disorder with and without Agoraphobia, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, and Generalized Anxiety Disorder.
