PSC Home

The Psychological Services Center (PSC), an on-campus unit of the LSU Department of Psychology, offers diagnostic and outpatient therapeutic psychological services for adults, adolescents, and children in surrounding communities while providing hands-on graduate student training and conducting research in clinical and school psychology. The center is open to anyone in the area, and fees for services are based on a sliding scale considering patients’ income and ability to pay. The PSC is equipped to treat a wide variety of psychological and emotional disorders, such as depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and substance abuse. Our services include psychological testing and cognitive-behavioral individual and group therapy for adults, adolescents, and children. Clients are seen by Clinical Psychology doctoral students who are directly supervised by LSU Psychology Department faculty, most of whom are licensed, clinical psychologists.

In addition, the PSC houses a number of state-of-the-science specialty clinics which provide cutting edge assessment and treatment services, as well as, conduct innovative research (often offering those who participate free services or further reduced fees).
