324 Audubon Hall Click here to view my VITA TEACHING: PSYC 7688 Clinical Practicum MY RESEARCH INTERESTS: My interests have focused on the field of intellectual disabilities
and autism spectrum disorders. Using a behavioral/biological approach,
my research has ranged from teaching social skills to the evaluation
of side-effects of psychotropic medications. I have over 400 publications
including 30 books on mental retardation, autism, and severe emotional
disorders. Former Ph.D. students have taken positions in state developmental
centers or in academic departments. Some academic departments where
students have worked are Johns Hopkins University Medical School,
University of Oregon, Ohio State University, University of Georgia,
University of Maryland Medical School, Western Michigan University,
