Research Interests:

My research interests are in behavioral medicine and topics of interest to psychologists working in medical settings. I am especially interested in:
- factors impacting adherence to medical regimens
- screening for mental health and substance abuse problems in medical settings
- stress and its impact on health and adherence to medical treatments
- the impact of psychopathology on adherence and medical utilization
- the impact of ethnicity and cultural differences on assessment of psychopathology, and especially on screening for psychopathology
- HIV/Aids adjustment and mental health issues
