Study Looking at Motivation to Quit Smoking

LSU PSC in Baton Rouge – Tobacco use is the leading cause of preventable death and disease in the United States, yet approximately 40 million Americans currently smoke cigarettes. Researchers at LSU are studying ways to increase motivation to quit smoking among adults. If you are a daily smoker, who smokes at least 10 cigarettes per day and are at least 18 years old, you may qualify for this study, regardless of whether you want to quit or not.
