Admission Timeline

The following is the recommended timeline for fall applicants to ensure priority processing.

Freshman Transfer
Junior year: Send SAT I and/or ACT scores to LSU. (codes: SAT - 6373, ACT - 1590)
Prior to August (One year before desired entry) Make sure you will have completed all LSU high school unit requirements with the required unweighted gpa. Make sure you are taking transferable courses with the required gpa from an accredited college or university.
June to December
  • Submit your application, application fee, official transcript, and test scores (if necessary).
  • Submit your housing application.
January Send your transcript with fall grades.
January 1 to December 1 Submit your Financial Aid paperwork.
April April 15 - Deadline for fall admission.
May
  • Return your orientation information.
  • Submit your final official transcript(s).
June to August
  • Submit your immunization form.
  • Submit documentation of student health insurance (international students).
  • Participate in orientation session.
  • Receive fee bill.
Submit course descriptions of any courses completed.
August Submit payment (fee stub) by payment date (even if there is a zero balance). Prepare to arrive early for orientation if you have not attended an orientation session earlier.
