LSU representatives travel extensively throughout the state of Louisiana and across the country. Recruitment activities include high school programs, city-wide and independent school district programs, high school visits, counselor visits, and special programs. The official recruitment season begins in September and ends in late spring.
Recruiting outside Louisiana is different as there is a limited number of recruiters assigned to out-of-state efforts. Recruiters assigned to out of-state markets will travel to the territories as needed. All other out of-state markets will be assigned recruiters on an as needed basis. Contact Mychon Deslandes at mdesla@lsu.edu if you have any questions about your state recruiter.
