Web Policy Groups

Web Policy Group is composed of 12 voting representatives from Public Affairs, Computing Services, the Chancellor's Office, the Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost, the Vice Chancellor for Finance & Administrative Services, the Vice Chancellor for Research & Graduate Services, the Vice Chancellor for Strategic Initiatives, the Vice Chancellor for Student Life & Academic Services, Student Government, Faculty Senate, Staff Senate, and LSU Capital and four Ex Officio representatives from Alumni Association, Athletic Department, a Computing Services, and Public Affairs.

The Web Policy Group is responsible for developing policies that govern the operation of the entire LSU website community. The Senior Web Policy Group charges the Web Working Group with the day-to-day maintenance of the LSU website.

The Web Working Group is composed of representatives from the Office of Public Affairs, the Office of Computing Services and the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administrative Services. This group is responsible for carrying out the policies established by the Web Policy Group, for developing web standards and guidelines for web design and maintenance in accordance with policies established by the Web Policy Group, and to assist university units in developing and maintaining useful web sites.
