LSU's "Trick or Treat Down the Row" Gave Families an Early Chance to Celebrate Halloween10/30/2009 2:00 PM BATON ROUGE – On Wednesday, Oct. 28, LSU’s sorority row on West Lakeshore Drive was packed with witches, vampires, superheroes, princesses and more for the annual “Trick or Treat Down the Row” event. Hundreds of Baton Rouge area families took advantage of the early Halloween celebration and were greeted with students, faculty and staff handing out candy, along with activities like dunking booths, face painting and games. Phi Kappa Psi fraternity hosted their annual children’s carnival with games and prizes. Kids of all ages enjoyed the evening, as the Panhellenic sororities got into the spirit by dressing up and decorating their yards in different Halloween themes. Mike the Tiger, the Golden Girls, LSU Cheerleaders and Tiger Girls also joined in the fun and were available to take pictures with kids and families while the trick or treated.
