Campus Communicators

Campus Communicators is an Office of Communications and University Relations initiative that connects communications professionals throughout the university.

Campus Communicators is open to all LSU employees who perform communications and marketing functions for their respective units. This is a great opportunity for all campus departments to enhance their promotional and recruiting efforts and increase the visibility of events, programs, brand awareness and achievements.

The purpose of the Campus Communicators is:

  • to share information, ideas, tools, standards, and resources to aid all members in doing their assigned jobs;
  • to coordinate the dissemination of consistent messages to target audiences; and
  • to otherwise foster collaboration among units, schools, campuses, and the central communications office to better advance the mission, people, and programs of LSU.
Each month Communications and University Relations hosts meetings on topics of interest to the members of Campus Communicators. Future meeting dates include: 1/13/2011, 2/3/2011, 3/10/2011, 4/7/2011, 5/5/2011, 6/9/2011, 7/7/2011, 8/11/2011. Meetings are held in 225 Peabody Hall and begin at 9 a.m. If you are interested in joining Campus Communicators, contact Michelle Spielman, Marketing Strategist, 8-4675 or mspielm@lsu.edu.
