Admission to LSU
To participate in the Spring Invitational Program, you must be accepted for admission to LSU. Your online reservation form for the LSU Spring Invitational Program cannot be processed until you have been admitted by LSU’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
If you have not yet applied to LSU, you may do so at www.lsu.edu/lsu4me. Your application, fee, transcript, and official test scores should be on file with the admissions office by February 1, 2008.
If you have submitted an application but have not received a reply, check the status of your application by visiting www.lsu.edu/admissions and selecting the “Check Admissions Status” link. If you need additional assistance, contact the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
Official SAT or ACT Scores
LSU will use your official SAT or ACT score(s) to determine your placement in math and English courses and to award credits in English. To attend the LSU Spring Invitational Program, LSU must have your official SAT or ACT score(s) on file. Only scores received directly from the SAT or ACT testing center are considered to be official scores.
When you took the SAT or ACT exam, you indicated the colleges to which you wanted your scores reported. If you did not list LSU as one of those colleges, LSU has not received your official test scores. You should immediately contact the SAT or ACT testing center and request that your scores are sent to LSU. (For SAT scores, call 609-771-7600 or go to www.collegeboard.com; LSU’s code is 6373. To request ACT scores, call 319-337-1313 or access www.act.org; LSU’s code is 1590.) If you indicated that you wanted your scores reported to LSU but your scores are not on file at LSU, contact the LSU Office of Undergraduate Admissions at 225-578-1175.
