A B O U T U S

The New Delta Review  publishes a wide range of fiction, poetry, and interviews from new, up-and-coming, and established writers such as Anne Carson, winner of the Lannan Literary Award for Poetry, the Pushcart Prize for Poetry, and the Griffin Poetry Prize; U.S. Poet Laureate Billy Collins, U.K. Poet Laureate Andrew Motion, Paul Muldoon, winner of the American Academy of Arts and Letters Award in Literature and the Irish Times Literature Prize for Poetry; the winner of the 2001 Pulitzer Prize for Poetry, Stephen Dunn; former U.S. Poet Laureate Robert PinskyNational Magazine Award winner Tim Gautreaux; winner of the Flannery O'Connor Short Story Award for fiction, George Looney; and Stacey Richter, a three-time winner of the Pushcart Prize. The New Delta Review also features artwork and literature in translation by international, national and regional artists. We are consulted annually by New Stories from the South, the Pushcart Prize, and many other national literary awards. We encourage you to browse, submit your own poetry, fiction, essays, translations, and subscribe.
     The New Delta Review is published twice annually by the LSU Creative Writing Program. Although our main feature is quality fiction and poetry, we also publish book reviews and interviews that focus on the writing life. Our journal has a strong tradition of publishing fine literary and visual arts.

Artwork · The New Delta Review continues to showcase an eclectic variety of artwork by notable international visual artists such as Michael Crespo, Robin Durand, Julian Grater, Ed Smith, and Donald Roller Wilson.
