Submission Guidelines:

The New Delta Review publishes a wide range of fiction and poetry as well as creative non-fiction, book reviews, and interviews with established writers.

Tips from the Editor:  We have eclectic tastes but rarely publish genre fiction. We need more creative non-fiction (emphasis on “creative”), flash fiction, and literary works that aren’t afraid to be irreverent, idiosyncratic, playful, and daring. Read the journal to get the best idea of the kinds of work we publish.

We ask that you submit no more than three to five poems at one time or one story in standard format with a maximum of 6,000 words.

Please specify on the outside of the envelope what genre or type of submission you are sending. Simultaneous submissions are accepted, but please indicate that in your cover letter.

All manuscripts must specify the author's name, address, phone number, and e-mail address (if available). Include a self-addressed, stamped envelope. We cannot returned manuscripts. Please note that we do not accept email submissions.

We read from August 15 to March 31. We accept submissions year round, but response times will be significantly longer for work sent in the summer.

The reply time is six months.
Sample copies are six dollars. Please submit and subscribe.
