James David Reyome

James David Reyome works as an IT tech at a southern publishing company and on the weekends serves as an official at NASCAR-sanctioned race tracks. Long before he fancied racing cars and Macintosh computers he would run home from school to catch the latest exploits of the Collins family in Dark Shadows  --  then in its first run  --  and he still considers a bag of popcorn and a slasher film at the drive-in the ideal date.  He lives in Lyles, Tennessee with his uncommonly patient wife Shelley, their uncommonly large and profoundly witty six year old son P.J., three cats, a dog, a dozen head of cattle, and over 1500 books (he stopped counting in 1997).  His favorite authors are David Schow, Karl Edward Wagner, Shirley Jackson and Manly Wade Wellman.  His favorite genre film is Night Of The Living Dead, which he saw at age 8 -- at a drive-in, naturally.
