Michael Ray lives in Poplar Bluffs, Missouri, where he draws, paints, creates satirical T-shirt slogans (his best being one that reads "What would Jesus do...for a klondike bar") and writes lyrics for the metal band Coalition. When he doesn't have a pencil in hand, he sings lead vocals, all the while holding down an 'ordinary' job. He describes himself as the love child of Alice Cooper and Anne Rice.
